Karen awarded RDA Fellowship
(January 18, 2013)The trustees are proud to announce that our group instructor, Karen Thompson has been awarded the RDA Fellowship in recognition of the coaching she has undertaken from group to Para Dresage level.
The RDA Coaching Committee has initiated the RDA Fellowship to recognise and reward RDA coaches who have demonstrated a high level of coaching ability and technical skill by attaining the RDASI/RDASC and a minimum of the BHS Int. Teach Test (or former RDASI Part 1).
These coaches must also have provided a high level of support to RDA, in a coaching capacity, at Regional or National Level over a minimum period of 5 years and upheld their continuous professional development, as required by RDA.
“We are delighted to have introduced this prestigious Coaching qualification, recognising the high level of skill, expertise and experience that exists among this elite group,” said RDA Chief Executive, Ed Bracher. “Congratulations to the first 20 recipients, and we look forward to creating many more Fellows in the years to come.”
