Success for riders at the RDA National Championships

Five riders from Kesteven RDA took part in the RDA National Championships at Hartpury, Gloucester over the weekend July 9th and 10th July 2011.
The 2011 RDA National Championships saw 767 entrants compete over a packed weekend, which featured RDA showjumping for the first time and a demonstration of grassroots to world class Para Dressage by the BEF. For the second year running, there were representatives from every one of RDA’s 18 Regions across the UK and Ireland, with 96 RDA Groups taking part.
Judges praised the exceptionally high standard of entrants at every level, noting the year on year improvements not just in the quality of riders but also turnout and overall professionalism.
All our riders won a class and coach, Karen Thompson, said " Once again the riders have excelled themselves and risen to the occasion. The Championships gets bigger each year and is a really exciting event to attend."
